Yesterday was the first time in 97 days I didn’t pump. From the day I had Jameson I’ve pumped every three hours, minus a 5 hour stretch to get a little extra sleep.
I am always amazed at all the myths that still circulate about breastfeeding. At first glance they seem like an annoyance, but in reality they actually ruin breastfeeding relationships. When we do not have the correct information about what’s going on with our bodies and our babies we cannot possibly reach our breastfeeding goals!
I was recently talking to my mom about what her experience was like nursing me in the 70’s. During our conversation I realized just how many convenience items have been developed for breastfeeding moms that she didn’t have. There are many items that I have never tried, but I was surprised at how many are actually inside my house right now. As blogger I get the opportunity to sample many things.
